Most car rentals in Dubai market their services by claiming that they are for everyone. It is a fact that anyone in Dubai can access a rental car for as long as he can afford to pay for it. However, certain people cannot have this facility of monthly car rentals in Dubai. It’s not because they cannot afford it, but there are other factors involved. 

Criminal history

Anyone with a criminal history or involvement in any criminal activities is not eligible to have a car on a rental basis. It’s not illegal for the person, but car rental companies prefer not to deal with people who have been a part of any controversy. They simply want to secure their investment and do not want to risk it at all. If the person gets involved in any illegal activity, then it can risk their vehicles and reputation as well.  

Poor rental history

Just like your credit history for the home holes and other loan amounts matters, similarly, your rental history matters a lot. You cannot get a good car on rent for the whole month if you do not have a good rental history. It will damage your reputation in the market. Similarly, people who have bad rental reputations, such as not paying rent, using cars too rough, or others, are not entertained by the rental companies.

Black listed profiles

There are some blacklisted profiles of car renters by rental companies. These are the people who tried to fraud the vehicles, change other parts, or even temper the original vehicle installations. These are serious offenses and cause direct damage to the vehicle. Knowing these things about a person, the rental company avoids trade and proceeds with the agreement.

No driving eligibility

Anyone below the age of 18 is not eligible to access the rental car. Moreover, someone without a driving license cannot have a car to rent for the self-drive option. In both cases, the person can hire a car, including a driver, to be safe on the road.
